M4A1 Sherman. The main difference between the M4A1 and the original Sherman was the M4A1's 76 mm gun. The increase in caliber was insignificant, but the increase in range and stopping power gave these Shermans a fighting chance. An encounter of equal numbers of Shermans and Panzers was still likely to end in defeat for the Allies, but the Sherman could be built so quickly that their sheer numbers overwhelmed the Germans. Russia’s new Armata tank (T-14) The platform’s chief tank (T-14) sports an unmanned remotely controlled turret armed with a brand new 125 mm 2A82-1M smoothbore cannon. Its muzzle energy is greater than one of the world’s previously considered best cannons: the German Leopard-2 Rheinmetall 120 mm gun. The 125 mm gun has 15-20 percent improved accuracy and its rolling fire angular dispersion has improved 1.7 times.

The Tsar Tank , also known as the Netopyr' which stands for pipistrellus (a genus of bat) aka They see me rollin', They hatin' :), was an unusual Russian armoured vehicle developed by four Russian millitary engineers from 1914 onwards. The project was scrapped after initial tests deemed the vehicle to be underpowered and vulnerable to artillery fire.

Nice detail of ZIMMERIT - a non-magnetic coating produced for German armored fighting vehicles during World War II for the purpose of combating magnetically attached anti-tank mines, although Germany was the only country to use magnetically adhered mines against tanks in any significant number. It was developed by the German company Chemische Werke Zimmer AG
