DAILY RIDDLE: I was designed as a counter to the German heavy tanks, such as the Maus. It was also set to be used for attacking the heavy defences expected of the German Siegfried Line.

The Tiger II, unofficially known as the King Tiger, developed in 1943, was produced by Henschel from 1944 onwards.
